Jonny Ford is a saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator based in London and is one of the rising stars of the UK jazz scene. Having worked with a diverse array of artists and bands including Mica Paris, Rebecca Ferguson, Heather Small, Cory Wong, NDR Big Band, Lydian Collective, Ashton Jones, Emma Smith, Gareth Lockrane Big Band, Matt Carter Octet, Tom Smith Big Band, Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Down For The Count Orchestra, Nigel Price, Art Themen, Mick Foster and Nat Steele, Jonny leads his own band the Jonny Ford Jazz Orchestra.

Jonny has performed at prestigious venues and festivals across the world including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, EFG London Jazz Festival, Qatar Jazz Festival, Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, Cadogan Hall, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Pizza Express Jazz Club, Vortex Jazz Club, 606 Club, Scarborough Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Cambridge Jazz Festival, Buxton Music Festival, Band On The Wall, 100 Club, Bridgewater Hall, LSO St Luke’s, Théâtre Galli, Le Gouvy, Stoller Hall, Bratislava Castle, Take 5 Jazz Club, Cheltenham Town Hall, Worthing Assembly Hall, St George’s Hall Liverpool and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.

Jonny regularly performs with the Matt Carter Octet, Sam Every Bigband, Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Glen Miller Memorial Orchestra and Down For The Count. Jonny appears on album’s including Matt Carter’s debut Read Between the Lines, Guilty Pleasures Vol.1 (LIVE) with the Sam Every Big Band and Lydian Collective x Capital Orchestra (Live at Cadogan Hall).
